The New Muslims Association

Asalaam Alailum 

Set up in 2004 it is based in Blackburn (Lancashire) whose aim is to help and support “New Muslims” or “Converts to Islam” and for those who are contemplating/interested in Islam within the Blackburn and surrounding Lancashire area.

A new team have taken over and are provding help and support to the Muslim community as of september 2009. We understand the needs of the Muslim community and believe that in Blackburn there should be a wide range of activities for the Muslim community, and also we wish to bring the communities together and welcome the non Muslims to funtions where we can all interact and live side by side.

Our aim is to provide help with:

Information on Islam
Becoming a Muslim
How to Perform Wudhu
Prayer
Meeting other New Muslims
Social Gatherings
Shahadah Certificates
Masjid Tours
Help & Support wherever it is Needed

No matter how long you have been Muslim or whether your born or not even Muslim we can offer a range of things to help and guide you. We are working with many other Locals from the Community and aim to provide a large number of activities in the near future.
